Having joined Security Business Bank at the company's inception, Ricardo Macedo is an integral member of the commercial lending team. Macedo is responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.
A Tijuana native raised in San Diego, Macedo specializes in the Hispanic market. His knowledge of Hispanic business culture coupled with his in-depth understanding of cash management tools and investment products make Macedo an invaluable resource to businesses seeking customized products and services.
Prior to Security Business Bank, Macedo was a Commercial Loan Underwriter for California Bank & Trust where he excelled at performing credit-related analyses for commercial loan borrowers. He also held leadership positions at Bank of America and City National Bank. He began his banking career in the Union Bank Management Training Program in Los Angeles.
Macedo earned a Bachelor of Science in management from San Diego State University and is fluent in Spanish and Italian. He serves on the Finance Committee of the South County Economic Development Council and is an active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. |
