Rich Marcogliese serves as Executive Vice President - Refining Operations. Marcogliese previously served as Senior Vice President - Refining Operations. Prior to that he held the position of Senior Vice President - Strategic Planning for Valero and was responsible for developing the strategic plan for the new Valero.
Before joining Valero�s corporate office, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the company�s Benicia refinery. Prior to Valero�s purchase of the Benicia refinery from ExxonMobil, Marcogliese worked for Exxon for 26 years serving in various operational and technical supervisory positions at the Benicia refinery and at the company�s Baton Rouge refinery, refining and supply headquarters and the former Bayway refinery in New Jersey.
Marcogliese holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from New York University School of Engineering and Science. |
