Rich assumed the role of Chief Environmental Officer for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company in 2004. In this role, Rich is responsible for leading ScottsMiracle-Gro�s environmental stewardship program policies and practices.
Rich joined Scotts in 1979 and led its fertilizer process development team through several major product and process innovations, culminating in the redesign of all Scotts� Turf Builder production facilities in Marysville, Ohio. From 1997-2001, he served as Scotts� Vice President of Research and Development, and from 2001-2004, worked within the Scotts North America business on product and technology strategy.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. |
