Rich Nerzig is the Director of Project Development for Tierra Energy. Mr. Nerzig has 15 years of power project development and management experience including the past ten years in the development, engineering, construction, and operation of utility scale wind energy projects throughout the U.S. Mr. Nerzig was the Facility/Asset Manager of the Big Spring and Westex I Windfarms, both located in West Texas, from 1998 to 2002. The Big Spring project was recognized as the 1999 Power Plant of the Year by Power Magazine. Rich has served on the Board of Directors for the New York City Chapter of the Project Management Institute. Mr. Nerzig has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master�s degree from New York University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
