As Vice-President, Worldwide Sales & Service, Novak�s mission is to expand Cape Clear�s top-tier customer base and rapidly-growing revenue stream.
Novak joins Cape Clear with more than 15 years of sales experience in the software industry. He previously served as vice president of North American sales for Marimba, Inc. before its acquisition by BMC Software in July 2004. After joining BMC, Novak was promoted to vice president of worldwide sales responsible for the Marimba product line, as well as BMC�s identity management product line. In total, Novak was charged with meeting revenue goals in excess of $150 million.
He also served in various executive sales positions at software startups such as Net Perceptions, MicroStrategy Incorporated and Stanford Technology, and sales management positions at Tandem Computers, General Electric, and Honeywell Information Systems. He holds a bachelor�s degree from Southern Illinois. |
