Richard A. (Rick) Darlow joined L-3 Communications in April, 2005 as president of the Infrared Products division based in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Darlow has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the semiconductor, instrumentation and software industries serving global technology markets. As a seasoned Silicon Valley executive, Mr. Darlow has served various roles, including vice president sales & marketing, COO, president and chief executive. Most recently, Mr. Darlow was involved with SiVal Advisors, an investment banking firm that partners with technology-based businesses. Prior to that he served as COO and chief executive of Grey Zone, Inc., an enterprise software company. Mr. Darlow also served as group president of Pacific Scientific Instruments as well as president of Matheson Electronic Products Group, a leading supplier of materials and equipment to the semiconductor industry. Mr. Darlow received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He also attended Stanford University�s Executive Institute for managing high-technology companies. |
