Richard Ferina is the Chairman and CEO of Calyon Financial, overseeing global activities for one of the world's top institutional brokerage firms. Mr. Ferina was appointed CEO in December 2002 and added the Chairman's role in March 2003. Since taking on global leadership responsibilities, Mr. Ferina has helped Calyon Financial enjoy significant growth with client assets of nearly $21 billion. The firm has access to over 60 exchanges and has representation in 16 financial centers around the world.
Prior to becoming Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ferina was Head of Calyon Financial North America where he led the region's futures operations, including management of the brokerage offices in Chicago, New York and Houston.
Mr. Ferina has been with Calyon Financial since 1990 and has over 27 years of experience in the financial industry. He has worked in many different positions including leadership roles at Drexel, Burnham, Lambert where he helped create and run the Financial Futures Division prior to joining Calyon Financial. Mr. Ferina began his career with Conti Financial, a division of Continental Grain.
As a recognized leader in the financial services industry, Mr. Ferina is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for the Futures Industry Association. |
