Rich Forschler has practiced as a member of Faegre & Benson�s government relations team since he joined the firm as a partner in 1989. Rich represents corporations, trade associations and professional associations before the Minnesota Legislature, state agencies, and local units of government. Rich has provided leadership on many significant projects for clients including: American Association of Advertising Agencies, Twin Cities Council in opposing legislation to extend the state sales tax to advertising services. He also represented the Twin Cities Council with regard to negotiations with the Minnesota Department of Revenue leading to the adoption of new rules regarding application of the sales tax to advertising transactions.
