Richard Kahn joined the firm as Special Counsel in 1998. In recent years, he has focused on structured finance and the development of new financial products. He has extensive experience in public and private securities offerings, representing both underwriters and corporate and sovereign issuers in the United States and elsewhere in the Americas. Having practiced US securities law for seven years in Frankfurt and Paris, he is fluent in German and French and has worked on a variety of privatizations and other securities transactions throughout Europe.
