Richard Mills is former Chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Department. His practice includes representing numerous school districts in education law matters, including student discipline, search and seizure, free speech and school finance matters.

Rich also represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, including collective bargaining, personnel policies and practices, discipline and discharge and equal employment opportunity. He negotiates collective bargaining agreements on behalf of public and private sector employers, and has represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board, Connecticut Board of Labor Relations, and State Board of Mediation and Arbitration, and Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
