Richard Putt brings to NineSigma a proven record of combining innovative business strategies with sound sales and marketing techniques to improve sales, profitability and gain market share. Throughout his career he has held several executive vice president and president positions with sales responsibility for US and international markets for startups as well as multi-million dollar organizations.
Prior to joining NineSigma, Putt was EVP of Sales and Marketing for Premiere Global Services a $500M company providing business process solutions, where he managed the sales and marketing organization for three distinct business practices. Prior to that, Putt was President, Enterprise Sales & Service at Broadwing Communications, a national telecommunications provider where he led the company�s sales and service organization�s successful transition from a wholesale provider to a full service retail provider. During his tenure the company experienced significant growth as a result of closing a number of large Fortune 1000 customers, including an unprecedented 10 year agreement with Bank of America for optical services with a contract value in excess of $100M
Prior to Broadwing he was Vice President at MCI, where his final assignment as Vice President of State Government and University Markets, he built a highly successful self contained $500M business to focus on Government and Education. Additionally at MCI he held VP positions in Business Markets, Global Accounts, Wholesale Markets, and Alternate Channels.
Prior to MCI, he led a start up in a financial services company which he built with a group of former colleagues that was successfully sold to an industry leading firm.
After completing his degree from the University of Cincinnati, Putt attended executive training courses at Wharton, George Washington University and Kellogg School of Business. |
