Richard (Dick) Pedtke was elected senior vice president and appointed as president of Ingersoll Rand's Compact Vehicle Technologies sector in May 2005. Dick joined Ingersoll Rand in 1997 through the acquisition of Thermo King. Most recently, Dick was president of Ingersoll Rand's Climate Control Technologies businesses (Thermo King, Hussmann and Koxka) in the European Served Area (ESA) based out of Brussels, Belgium beginning in October 2003. Dick has 20 years of international experience with the Thermo King subsidiary including president of International, vice president of Asia Pacific and vice president of international marketing.
Dick graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his career with former Thermo King parent company, Westinghouse, in 1970 as a Field Sales Engineer in Chicago. From 1970 until 1985, Dick held increasingly responsible roles within the company. In 1985, he joined Thermo King as vice president of sales and marketing for Thermo King Europe, based in Galway, Ireland. |
