Mr. Sands founded Casimir Capital L.P. in 2001. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As well, Richard serves as Co-Head of Syndication and Consultant to Investment Banking Division, Chief Supervisory Principal & Lead Relationship Manager. Prior to founding Casimir, Mr. Sands was Senior Managing Director of Sands Brothers & Co. Ltd., a NYSE member firm at the time. Richard led the corporate finance and syndicate efforts as well as institutional sales and trading. From 1994 through 2000 Richard was involved in a multitude of private placements, secondary and initial public offerings. From 1988 through 1991 Mr. Sands worked as a Physical Commodities Trader at Bomar Resources Inc. From 1987 through 1989 Richard worked in Sales and Trading at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. |
