Richard Fielder is the Vice President of Engineering for Hutchinson Technology's Disk Drive Components Division. He is responsible for advanced product and process development and for customer program development which includes design development prototype manufacturing and pre-production of new products.
Fiedler joined Hutchinson Technology in 1989 and has served in various engineering and engineering management positions including process engineer product design engineer engineering supervisor and manager of product development. He became the Director of Technology Development in 2001 and was appointed Vice President of Engineering in 2005.
Fiedler has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas. |
