Richard J. Keating is President and Chief Executive Officer of Keating & Co, an award winning strategic communications firm. Mr. Keating has developed and implemented strategic communications for the Australian Bicentennial, the French Bicentenary, Nikon, Cendant, the New York Cotton Exchange, the International Securities Exchange, Tudor Investments and Bertelsmann. His public relations and marketing strategies have resulted in numerous industry awards for excellence in public relations and strategic communications. Additionally, he facilitates CEO media training, and works with some of the country's most widely recognized business leaders. He has conducted numerous seminars and has written articles on topics concerning economic development, branding, public relations strategy, internal relations, investor relations and public relations.
Mr. Keating serves as a member of the Board of Overseers of Seton Hall University's John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations, as well as the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He is a member of the Board for the New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, and New Eyes for the Needy, and is co-chair of the Bowdoin College Parents Executive Committee. Keating also serves on the Board of Trustees for The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.
A graduate of Villanova University, with dual degrees in English and Communications, Mr. Keating has also been trained at the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes and Mediation Program. |
