Richard K. Howe joined Acxiom in 2004 as an officer and is the chief marketing and business strategy leader. In his role as marketing leader, Rich has global responsibility over product marketing, marketing communications, marketing relations, advertising, public relations, alliances, events, creative services and interactive/direct marketing. In his role as strategy leader, Rich helps drive Acxiom�s growth through the execution of business strategies designed to meet market changes and/or mitigate competitive threats. For many of these strategies, Rich also assumes an operational leadership role over the groups while under development. In this regard, he currently operates the Company�s Asia Pacific business.
Rich joined Acxiom from Fair Isaac & Company, where he served as general manager of the company�s Global Marketing Services (GMS) unit, a business with over $100 million in annual revenue. Before joining Fair Isaac, he founded and was chairman / CEO of ieWild Inc., a technology company whose software and services were utilized by many of the largest financial services institutions in the U.S. He negotiated that company�s acquisition in 2001 to HNC Software.
Rich has been on the forefront of software, services, data and analytics technology designed to drive business intelligence for over 15 years. He has launched over a dozen products and been involved in over ten M&A transactions ranging in size from $2 to $800 million dollars. Rich has at various times in his career held positions in product marketing, project management, sales management, software development and construction engineering.
Rich received a bachelor�s degree in structural engineering from Concordia University, Canada, and a master�s degree in engineering from McGill University, Canada. |
