As president of Parkland Health Center, Conklin is responsible for the successful operation of several facilities in southeastern Missouri. Parkland Health Center includes a full-service 130-bed acute care hospital and a free-standing professional services building in Farmington, Missouri, as well as a 3-bed Critical Access Hospital in Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Conklin serves on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Hospital Association, the Community Foundation for Medical Care, BJC Home Care Services, BJC Medical Group and the Surgery Center of Farmington. He is a member of the American College of Health-Care Executives and serves as a Board member for the Farmington Chamber of Commerce and the Farmington Educational Foundation. |
