Experience: 35 years as a tax and accounting professional, including a tax partner of a Big 4 accounting firm and Assistant Professor of Accounting and Taxation at Long Island University. Richard is currently an Adjunct Professor of Taxation at Long Island University. Richard joined the firm in 2006.
Emphasis: Strategic planning, compliance and research on tax issues. He is an experiencied tax and accounting professional, who specializes in business and tax issues that impact small and middle market companies. Richard is often called upon to advise high-net worth individuals on tax and estate planning matters. He has built a reputation advising public relations firms on financial and tax matters. His financial management column appears monthly in O'Dwyer's PR Report.
Achievements: Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants; and, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Past chairperson of Closely Held and S Corporations Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently serve on this committee. |
