Richard L. Treanor is a partner in the firm's Chemical Practice Group. His practice includes opinions, counseling, litigation and prosecution. Before joining the firm, he was employed by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as an examiner in the Special Laws Administration Division, specializing in liquid crystal technology.
Dr. Treanor received his Law degree, cum laude, from the Catholic University in 1994. After receiving his Doctorate in Organic Chemistry, with honors, from Georgetown University, he earned a National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council Fellowship for post doctoral study at the Biomolecular Science and Technology Center of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
Dr. Treanor is admitted to the Virginia Bar. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. |
