Rick has over twenty years of extensive financial management experience ranging from large publicly traded companies to pre-Series A startups and has held executive management positions within leading edge enterprise software companies as well as consumer product companies. Prior to eWork, Rick was the as CFO of Tapwave, Inc., an innovative company providing award winning hand held multi-media devices. Before joining Tapwave, Rick was the CFO for iMediation SA, an international software company with headquarters in San Francisco and Paris. At iMediation, Rick was responsible for the worldwide financial and accounting organizations as well as Investor Relations, Human Resources, and MIS. As the CFO for Multitude, a technology company focused on voice over internet products and services, Rick was responsible for the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Facilities and Legal departments and was instrumental in the management team's success in securing four rounds of equity funding. During his tenure at Tandem Computers, Rick held Software Development Controller, Manufacturing Accounting Manager and General Accounting Manager positions. Prior to Tandem, Rick was a member of the audit staff at Deloitte Haskins & Sells and received his CPA in California. Rick has an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Economics from Whitman College in Washington |
