Richard Thayer was elected as a director of the Company in April 2006. Mr. Thayer is currently the Executive Vice President, Finance at Philadelphia Media Holdings LLC and its subsidiary Philadelphia Newspapers LLC, the publisher of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News.
Prior to Philadelphia Media Holdings LLC, he was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. Mr. Thayer's twenty five year career at J. P. Morgan and its predecessor banks included serving as a Managing Director in its Restructuring, Syndicated & Leveraged Finance and Global Transportation groups. He received his B.S. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in Finance and Marketing. |
