Co-founder of Regeneration Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:RTIX) in 1998, Mr. Allen developed the initial RTIX business plans and helped to negotiate the successful spin-off of the underlying RTIX technology from the University of Florida. As CFO of RTIX he negotiated the initial venture capital investments for the company and led the company's successful IPO in August 2000, raising $75 million. During his tenure as CFO he was responsible for finance, business development, IT, intellectual property and human resources. Mr. Allen has 28 years of experience in business and finance, including 16 years in executive leadership positions with technology-based businesses in the fields of engineering, electronics manufacturing, biomedical technology and medical device manufacturing. He is also licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida. |
