Dr. Imbruce is an authority on cardiopulmonary physiology and its diagnostic techniques. He also has substantial experience in obtaining medical device FDA clearances and in developing new systems for patient monitoring in the operating room. He is consulting for and was Vice President Business Development at Versamed, Inc., a supplier of artificial ventilation medical devices. Previously he was Medical Information Scientist at AstraZeneca. Prior to 2000 he was CEO and President of Pneumedics, Inc., a FDA approved manufacturer of diagnostic cardiopulmonary instruments, and earlier he was clinical physiologist at Yale University School of Medicine Norwalk Hospital where he implemented lung ventilation and blood oxygenation physiology technology and supervised cardiopulmonary departments. He has several publications and delivered lectures to national/international audiences. He founded the �Society of Computing in Anesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care. He received a BS in biology from St. Peter�s College (New Jersey) and an MS and PhD in biology from New York University. |
