Richard S. Mills is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (1982) and New York Law School (1986). He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Mills brings extensive jury trial experience to the firm, having defended both insureds and insurers to successful verdicts. He has co-authored a number of published articles including an article on the disparity in white-collar sentencing practices with Judge Harold Bear, Jr., Discretion and Disparity on the Criminal Side of the Supreme Court in New York County, 31 N.Y. Law Rev. 1. His latest article (co-authored with Frederick Zauderer, Esq.) is entitled At the Apex of the Arc of the Pendulum: Does FDIC v. INA Spell the Beginning of the End for the Notice Prejudice Rule in Fidelity Cases?, IV Fid. Law Assoc. Journal 127-226. Mr. Mills has presented a number of seminars for both insurers and insureds including: Avoiding Libel Liability, Developments in the Duty to Defend, and Fundamentals of Lender Liability. |
