Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Agri-Mark and Chief Executive Officer, Cabot Creamery
Dr. Stammer has been with Agri-Mark since 1982, holding the position of Vice President of Economics and Communications before assuming the duties of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Operations in 1989. In October of 1993, Stammer was named to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Agri-Mark, and in August of 1994 was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Cabot Creamery.
Prior to joining Agri-Mark, Stammer was an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in Agricultural Economics at Rutgers University. At Rutgers, he taught and conducted research in the areas of quantitative Economic Analysis and Marketing and directed the graduate studies program. While at Rutgers, he also did consulting work for several companies in both retail and manufacturing sectors of the food industry.
Stammer is on the Board of Directors of the National Cheese Institute and on the Board Executive Committee of The National Butter Institute, the American Dairy Products Institute, and Dairy America. He also served on the New England Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
