Rich is Chief Technology Officer for Archimedes and a Director of the firm. As the founding member of the current Systems team, Rich joined our predecessor firm, the Consumer Financial Institute, in 1981. The author of the firm's proprietary text processing language, he has been a key contributor on many of the financial planning products Archimedes has developed over the years. Rich is responsible for new technology initiatives, R&D activities, and new product implementation. He creates hardware and software standards for the company and oversees the design and development of systems and products to support our clients and our internal systems. Rich has evaluated and installed successive generations of UNIX-based computer hardware, networking, and high-speed electronic printing systems. He has managed Archimedes' technology migration from batch-based paper production systems to state-of-the-art web-based education and retirement planning tools that provide secure, single-signon integration with Archimedes' clients' advisor and retail-based web platforms. |
