Richard Baye has been on the Golden West Board of Directors since September of 1983 and currently serves as president of Golden West Telecommunications Cooperative and Golden West Properties. He and his wife Ethelda live in Philip where they owned and operated Baye & Sons Inc., a John Deere Dealership, for 10 years. Richard graduated from Philip High School and joined his father in the implement business in 1958. He currently works as a Real Estate Agent for Bad River Real Estate. He has served as fire chief of the Philip Volunteer Fire Department and currently serves on the board of the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip. Richard is also a member of the Philip Chamber of Commerce. The Bayes have five grown children and 13 grandchildren. |
