Dr. Richard Cerione holds joint professorial appointments in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Cornell-New York State College of Veterinary Medicine and in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell University. Dr. Cerione is an expert on the molecular mechanisms by which signals are transmitted from cell surface receptors to biological effectors. His laboratory has identified and characterized new signaling molecules, such as cdc42, that influence the growth and differentiation of mammalian cells. Dr. Cerione received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. |
