Dr. Ingber earned his B.A., Masters and Doctoral degrees in comparative literature at Harvard University, where he taught classical Greek and Roman, European and American history and literature for several years before pursuing a second career in medicine.
Dr. Ingber graduated from Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, and remained there for specialty training in hematology and oncology. He has acquired a broad background of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the blood and coagulation systems, as well as management of both hematologic and solid tumors with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, or, if appropriate, supportive measures. Dr. Ingber is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Prior to joining Southlake Clinic in 2000 he practiced as an attending physician in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Pacific Medical Center in Seattle, and worked as a staff member at Swedish Medical Center. He was charged with evaluating chemotherapy research protocols during his tenure on the Institutional Review Board of the hospital. |
