Richard is responsible for accounting practices, financial controls (budgets), cost and general accounting. Richard, a Certified Public Accountant, began his 20-year career with one of the eight largest international accounting and professional services firms, currently referred to "Big Four" accounting and audit firms. He joined ServiceMaster in 1998 as director of finance and business practices for a former sister company, ARS Service Express. In his current position with Merry Maids, Richard works with the leadership team to establish realistic growth projections, plans and opportunities."The accounting and finance function needs to ensure accurate and timely information is maintained and reported," Richard says. "This helps allow owners to properly monitor and manage their businesses. The accounting team will always strive to maintain processes and procedures that allow for success while maintaining the highest level of integrity." Richard earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. |
