Prior to consulting as Triangle's Joint Venture Manager, Richard Moorman served as Vice-President, Corporate Development at Leor Energy LLC, a deep unconventional natural gas producer in the Deep Bossier play of East Texas until its recent sale to EnCana. Mr. Moorman was previously employed by Capital One Southcoast as Vice-President, Energy Equity Research where he advised institutional equity investment clients across North America. Richard focuses primarily on the early identification and valuation of emerging unconventional natural gas resource companies.
During his 17 years in the petroleum sector, Mr. Moorman has worked primarily in Business Development and Reservoir Engineering for Canadian and US-based companies including Anderson Exploration, Devon Energy, and Amoco. Mr. Moorman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from theUniversity of Saskatchewan and a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Mr. Moorman is a certified Professional Engineer and member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta as well as the Petroleum Society of Alberta. |
