Richard has more than 20 years finance experience in technology and high growth companies and has served as CFO of several Silicon Valley companies with recent life sciences experience.Richard is also currently serving as Acting CFO for SoundID in Palo Alto. From 2001 to March 2003, Richard was CFO for Coapt Systems, an emerging growth medical device companyspecializing in implantable bioabsorbable devices for soft-tissue fixation. From 1992-2001,Richard was CFO of WhiteLight Systems, a leading analytical applications software company. As a founding employee, Rich provided financial management through various stages of the company, including bootstrap, corporate partner, and venture financing, resulting in completion of private and venture rounds of $45 million. From 1978-1987, Rich was at Inmac Corp, a direct response computer supplies company. Rich oversaw the company�s growth from $17M to $130M with no additional external equity. As CFO, he took the company public in 1985 and also served as general manager for the $20M Accessories Division. Other experience includes CFO stints in retail,telecommunications testing and direct response companies. Rich has a MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor�s degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. |
