Rick Beardmore is vice president, Crop Protection Supply, a position he has held since September, 2006. He is responsible for the management oversight of all crop protection products supply, including management of key supplier contacts and relationships. He joined the company in April, 2005 as senior director, Crop Protection Products Supply.
Prior to joining Agriliance, Beardmore was director of business development for Makhteshim Agan of North America. He also held various research, product development, sales and management positions with United Agri Products, American Cyanamid and American Hoechst.
Beardmore served on the board of directors for Agricultural Information Technologies; and served as treasurer, vice president and president of the Delmarva Agricultural Chemicals Association. He is also author of several papers in referred scientific journals, has presented numerous abstracts at scientific association meetings, and hold several patents.
Beardmore was born in Honolulu, and has lived in 17 states. He holds a Ph.D. in agronomy from Cornell University, a master's of science degree in economic entomology from Mississippi State University, and a bachelor's of science degree in pest management from the University of Maryland |
