Rick Brown joined MessageLabs as Senior Vice President of Sales in December 2006. Prior to joining MessageLabs, Rick was Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Whale Communications/Microsoft. Prior to this, Rick served as Senior Vice President of McAfee for more than four years holding multiple executive positions, including Senior Vice President of the Worldwide Systems Integration Group and North American Telecom Group. Before McAfee, Rick worked for several healthcare technology companies, including Health Management Systems, Oxford Specialty Management and Coastal Physician Services. Rick spent 14 years at IBM both in sales leadership positions and as Principal, IBM Global Services in the process reengineering consulting group. He received a BA in Applied Math-Economics from Brown University and his MBA from the Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.
