Rick brings to Custom 14 years of experience in executive sales and marketing positions in the technology industry, with his overall sales experience dating back to 1990. Prior to Custom, Rick managed the top producing sales team worldwide for Globix Corporation, focusing on the outsourcing of data center, network connectivity, hosting and managed services. Rick was also the Northeast Regional Sales and Marketing Director for MCI's cooperative services network, where he developed a new technology services business from infancy to over 50 million in revenue. Joining Custom in 2003 as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Rick worked with the executive team to develop the corporate go-to-market strategy and Custom's Right People and Right Results messaging. He continues to build the sales and marketing teams and programs to carry out the company's vision. In 2007, Custom restructured into individual profit centers and Rick took over the additional duties of leading the Product profit center. In this role, he oversees hardware and software sales and our manufacturer relationships. His main interest in this role is to align Custom's overall sales and marketing activities with those of our key partners. Rick is a member of various professional associations, such as the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) and the American Marketing Association (AMA), and his industry expertise is often sought upon by analysts and trade publications. He holds a BA degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. |
