Rick Conklin is the Managing Director of Global Investment Management at ProLogis. He has overall responsibility for the investment management business, including the creation and strategy of new funds, and fund investor relations. He is also a member of the Executive Committee.
Mr. Conklin comes to ProLogis with 20 years of investment banking experience, having completed over $3.5 billion in public and private equity offerings, investment sales, and mergers & acquisitions across multiple industry sectors. He most recently founded and led the Public Company Private Placement effort at William Blair & Co., a Chicago-based investment banking firm where he served since 2000.
From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Conklin founded and led the Equity Capital Markets Group for Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (NYSE: JLL), one of the world�s leading real estate investment and services firms. Under his direction, the Equity Capital Markets Group assisted a broad range of private real estate operating companies and discretionary funds in raising institutional equity capital.
Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Conklin was an investment banker specializing in real estate and financial services, capital raising and mergers and acquisitions for Morgan Stanley and Kidder Peabody & Co. in New York and Chicago.
Mr. Conklin holds an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. |
