Utilizing his extensive telecom marketing and sales experience, Rick Joyce, Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region, is focused on growing Recordant's markets in the eastern United States and Europe. Prior to joining Recordant, Joyce served as Managing Director Sales and Marketing for the Managed Broadband Services Group at ViaSat. While at ViaSat Joyce lead the sales and marketing plans to secure new high-profile business partners, system integrators and service providers in various vertical markets. During his tenure he consistently achieved over 100% of plan and was named Salesperson of the Year in 2005. Before joining ViaSat, Joyce founded and ran Mega-Sales LLC. He helped position his primary client, Megasys from a regional software start-up to a worldwide solutions provider of advanced network management solutions through the building of a reseller network. From 1988 through 1997 Joyce served as Director of Sales, Marketing and Consumer Service of Metso Automation (now known as Telvent). In this position Joyce managed and developed business strategies for the international and domestic markets and was part of the divisional leadership that managed the growth of the division from $6 million per year to $65 million per year in 5 years. Joyce graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Design Engineering Technology. |
