Rick Orlando has been active in the nonvolatile memory market for more than 20 years. At Xicor Inc he was responsible for product definition and marketing and was influential in such products as the the E2POT and programmable reset controllers which have become the foundations of Xicor's mixed signal business.
At Exel Microelectronics, Rick developed the concept of programmable analog products which provided the end customer the ability to program the analog functions of a device to optimize the system performance.
Rick furthered the programmable analog concept as the founder and CEO of Summit Microelectronics where he commercialized the technology into power management products for the communications industry. |
