Mr. Orr is the General Counsel and Secretary of Cerexa. Mr. Orr is responsible for all legal matters at Cerexa including contract negotiations intellectual property portfolio management equity issuances and general corporate governance. Prior to joining Cerexa Mr. Orr was the Associate General Counsel of Peninsula Pharmaceuticals and was instrumental in structuring the spin out of Cerexa and the acquisition of Peninsula by Johnson & Johnson. Prior to working at Peninsula Mr. Orr was an attorney at Cooley Godward LLP where he was outside counsel for biotechnology and technology clients handling venture financing transactions public offerings mergers and acquisitions strategic corporate relationships SEC reporting and compliance and corporate governance. Mr. Orr received a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He received a B.A. from The Ohio State University and an M.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara. Mr. Orr is a member of the State Bar of California. |
