Rick brings site sensitivity and a passion for design to all his work which includes projects from National Parks Service work to urban infill mixed-use to museums. Outside of OZ, Rick invests heavily in giving back to the educational community. With a Bachelor in Environment Design from Berkeley and a Masters of Architecture from Harvard, Rick has lectured at the Boston Architectural Center, Rhode Island School of Design, and University of Colorado School of Architecture. Rick teaches Masters Level classes at the University of Colorado, Denver. He is also a frequent juror at design competitions throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Currently Rick is a member of Colorado State University's Design Review Board. He is an active community member, his affiliations include American Institute of Architects - Denver Chapter, and Bow Mar Architectural Control Committee. Rick was also The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 2005 Man of the Year in Denver, and remains very involved in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society leadership. |
