Rick Timmins has served as a director of Transmeta since May 2003.
From January 1996 until his retirement in April 2007, Mr. Timmins was employed at Cisco Systems, Inc., a computer networking products company, where he held a series of financial management positions, most recently as Vice President of Finance. From January 1974 until December 1995, Mr. Timmins was employed at Motorola, a provider of integrated communications solutions and embedded electronic solutions, where he held a series of financial management positions, most recently as Vice President and Controller of the Microprocessor, Memory and Microcontroller Group. Mr. Timmins also serves on the Board of Directors of Ultratech Stepper, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of photolithography equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor and nanotechnology components.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. Mr. Timmins is a Certified Public Accountant. |
