Rick brings to the Epocrates team extensive experience as a public and private company CFO, most recently at NetIQ Corporation, a $265 million revenue enterprise software company. At NetIQ, Rick oversaw the successful implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes and best-in-breed revenue recognition practices, as well as extensive systems improvement work. Prior to NetIQ, Rick was CFO at privately-held XACCT Technologies, where he was responsible for building a public company financial infrastructure and raising over $50 million in private equity. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Financial Officer at several other publicly-traded software companies, including Micro Focus and Wall Data and he held senior management positions at Sun Microsystems and Teradata. Rick holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Wharton. |
