Rickie M. Sonpal graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 1997. In 2001, he received an M. Phil. with distinction in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic languages from the University of Cambridge, where he was a resident of Churchill College. In 2004, he graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he received the Dean John D. Feerick Student Writing Award and the Henrietta Metcalf Contract Prize. Mr. Sonpal served as a Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review and is the author of Note, Old Dictionaries and New Textualists, 71 Fordham L. Rev. 2177 (2003). After law school, he joined Shearman & Sterling LLP as an associate in the finance group, and later served as a law clerk to The Honorable Peter K. Leisure of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York |
