Ms. Cassin, Corporate Safety Director, brings over 16 years of valuable experience to Summit Contracting including a solid background in all phases of construction safety including; demolition, site preparation, utility installation and repair, steel erection, equipment installation and maintenance. With extensive experience in the aluminum, automotive and the plastics industries, she has served as a key safety professional on numerous robotics and conveyor systems installation projects. Ms. Cassin has experience in a wide range of construction site and facility auditing and is knowledgeable in the fundamentals and implementation of ISO-18001/14001/19001, V.P.P., Kaizen and 5-S programs. With years of safety audits and field inspections in both construction and general industry environments to her credit, Ms. Cassin provides Summit Contracting with a wide range of experience with various applications of engineered safety features.

In summary, Ms. Cassin is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a safe, accident free work environment, to formulate general safety policies and procedures to serve as guidelines for company personnel and to assure compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health rules and regulations. Her responsibilities also include the development and implementation of safe work procedures to prevent or correct if necessary unsafe working conditions. Other duties include; OSHA Record Keeping, Injury Case Management, and the development of ongoing safety training programs and training documentation.
