Rita Detwiler consults for Noel-Levitz from her position as vice president for enrollment management at Lynchburg College (VA). She offers more than 20 years of experience in enrollment management, including admissions, marketing, and communications. At Lynchburg College, Ms. Detwiler�s responsibilities include undergraduate admissions and financial aid, the college�s marketing and recruitment plan, and co-leading the campus�s retention efforts. During her tenure, Lynchburg has enrolled the three largest freshman classes in its history, increased minority representation, raised first-to-second-year retention from 68 to 76 percent in one year, and increased freshman net revenue by 55 percent. Previously, Ms. Detwiler served as director of admissions at Roanoke College (VA). She helped develop the college�s marketing plan, including overseeing the direct mail, telemarketing, and campus visit initiatives. She was also director of admissions at Lycoming College (PA), where she managed student recruitment, publications, direct mail, telemarketing, and the alumni-admissions program.
