Mr. Singh oversees ConAm's Investment Group, which is responsible for originating, structuring, underwriting and completing investments in multifamily assets using a variety of investment methods. The Investment Group works closely with all facets of the ConAm organization, particularly Property and Asset Management, in order to accurately structure and underwrite investment opportunities. In addition, he is responsible for identifying and maintaining relationships with institutional capital sources for direct investment or joint venture relationships. Additional responsibilities include oversight relating to disposition of the company�s assets.
Prior to joining ConAm in 1996, Mr. Singh was vice president of acquisitions for Citicorp Realty Investment Advisors, a division of Citicorp N.A., which acts as a fiduciary investment advisor for major U.S. and offshore institutional investors. Mr. Singh was responsible for acquiring institutional quality real estate, including office, retail, industrial and multifamily, in the western U.S. markets through direct investment and joint ventures with operating partners.
In 1988, Mr. Singh joined The Boston Company Real Estate Counsel, a division of Boston Safe and Trust, which acted as a real estate investment advisor to major public and private domestic pension funds. Mr. Singh was a part of the acquisitions team that formed and operated the West Coast office.
Mr. Singh has a bachelor�s degree in economics and business management from the University of California, Irvine. He is an active member in the Urban Land Institute, the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council and the National Multi-Housing Council. |
