Robert Troska, co-founder of Vision Technology Services, LLC, is the firm's Vice President of Business Development. Rob began his career as a financial services professional where he achieved great success. In 1992, Rob was promoted to the Branch Brokerage Manager where he utilized his expert knowledge to solicit and recruit independent agents to use the financial service products from the stable of carriers the agency represented. Under his leadership, the branch earned the President's Award four times for sales volume. Despite Rob's success with in the financial services industry, his desire to transition into the technology industry grew stronger over time. In 1996, Rob decided to pursue his interest and transitioned into the information services industry. Rob was responsible for all facets of this growing business including new client development, recruitment of technical personnel, and employee relations. In December of 1997, Rob accepted a position with Acuity Technology/Metro Information Services as Technical Director. Rob successfully created a positive culture, which led to a large increase in employee retention. Rob's other contributions as Technical Director played a significant role in the success of the Baltimore Division, and resulted in a promotion to Account Executive. Rob's promotion to Account Executive brought new responsibilities including strategic account sales activity and management of the internal support team. Rob earned Outstanding Achievement Awards for his performance as a Technical Director and Account Executive. Rob currently resides in Jarrettsville with his wife and two sons. He is an active member in the recreation council and coaches soccer and lacrosse. His hobbies are playing golf, volleyball and riding his Harley. |
