Robert (Robbie) Barron is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Kitty Hawk Aircargo, Inc., named to this position in June 2005.
Barron previously served as the company's Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering, overseeing all maintenance and engineering operations, as well as refinement of the Kitty Hawk Aircargo long-term fleet plan. He also served as a senior member of Kitty Hawk's B737-300SF aircraft Integration team.
Prior to joining Kitty Hawk, Barron served as Chief Inspector for USAIR, Director of Quality Assurance and Heavy Maintenance for AirTran Airways, as well as Managing Director for heavy maintenance provider, TIMCO, in both Lake City, FL and Macon, GA. Barron's 20-plus years in commercial and military aviation has also included management, quality assurance and maintenance responsibilities with Delta Airlines and the United States Air Force. |
