Robbin Blaine works on foundation fundraising for the Policy and Advocacy Division of Consumers Union. She joined the Consumer Policy Institute in 1984 as a part-time foundation grants officer and proposal writer. From 1979-1982, she was Director of Development at Inform and from 1977-1979, a proposal writer for Environmental Defense.
She previously taught English to middle, high school and college students in New York City, and to middle school students in Yokohama, Japan.
She received a B.A. in English Literature from Harvard/Radcliffe and an M.A. and an M. Phil in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
