Mr. Alter is our President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to our formation Mr. Alter served as Chief Executive Officer of one of our predecessor companies Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. which completed its initial public offering in 1995 and was later taken private in 1999 through a management-led buyout. Mr. Alter has been an owner of hotels for almost 30 years and is a past President of the Holiday Inn Franchise Association and a member of the Marriott Franchise board. Mr. Alter holds a B.S. degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. |
